Location:         ROSSMOOR LAWN BOWLING CLUB

Date:       Saturday&Sunday, April 17&18, 2010

SIGN-IN:  8:45 to 9:00 a.m.

DRAW for Rink:  9:00 a.m.  

STARTING  TIME:   9:30 a.m. 

                                                  

Format:   Basically the same as for the PIMD Open defined in the Tournament Rules and Regulations (TR&R) of Dec.2008

First day qualifying, three 18 point games.  Two points for win, one point for tie with 10 points maximum differential.  Tie breaks per TR&R, para. I-20.

 

Second day three 18 point playoff games within flights.  Top 8 qualifiers to championship flights (A&B) with remaining qualifiers in flights of 4.  The bottom qualifiers not making a complete flight of 4 are eliminated from second day play.

 

Prizes in accordance with TR&R, para. I-24&25.

Smoking Policy:   NO SMOKING in the CLUBHOUSES or on the GREENS

 

Dress:  Footwear (flat-soled) per 2007 USLBA Laws for National Tournaments para. A.2 . :

 White or cream slacks or shorts.  Plain white or colored shirts with collar and sleeves.

 

Markers:  Players entering a PIMD singles match are encouraged to identify at least one marker volunteer per day for every three players entered from their home club.  If markers are not available, then competitors will set the jack for each other.  All marker volunteers are welcome.

 

Hospitality:    Liquid refreshment will be available; however, bring your own lunch and energy food.

 

Entry Fee:       $15.00 per player

                        (include check made to “PIMD” only, for entry fee)
